Today is open day and close to one hundred people came to see the most exciting strawbale/clay building in Europe!

At 16.00 we had a presentation of ArTUR (the NGO organizing the event), the works of Gernot Minke and my presentation of the building procedure:
Our cooks prepared some tasty bits of their cooking:
Ecoshop had a presentation of different ecological products:
Here some visitors at the entrance, notice the relief in the plaster, connecting the entrance with the dome:
And a view up into the dome - don't forget, only straw bales carrying the load...
We got our first window sill done! The metall border to the glass is not very straight, so very problematic to connect even with special tape from 3M - probably need a thicker tape for the other windows.
And one vault has gotten the names of all participants, 1st and 2nd workshop, written in the plaster. Hope we did not forget about anyone...
Christening of the dome with chamapgne! Probably some repair work for tomorrow!
In the end - PARTY TIME in the dome! Well deserved!
