Wooden columns and ring beam

Today I am writing the blog a bit late after celebrating he birthday of our master carpenter with two bottles of whiskey....

In the morning the container arrived and we placed it on the earthen screws:

What is not shown: The ring beam was made 44cm wide instead of 46cm - but the outer dimension was kept: so all angles are wrong... tomorrow we will de-mantle the ring beam and adjust the angles for the ring beam to fit. What a waste of time.... :-)
